Between 9th - 13th May 2016 we held our third Spinal Awareness Week - “Chiropractic: Keeping You Connected”.

The event focused on promoting the huge benefits chiropractic can have on everyone within our communities, and how chiropractic keeps people connected not just within themselves and their health and vitality, but also with their families, communities and globally. The event was a great success.

Along with the United Chiropractic Association we are doing our bit to help to stop UK hunger

United Chiropractic Association and Trussell Trust helping stop UK hunger

Following the success and feedback from the last two years campaign the United Chiropractic Association have decided to work with the Trussell Trust again, a National Charity helping to feed people through foodbanks.

This is where we come in! We are running our very own Care & Share in the community on12th December. We would love you to get involved and help contribute to this very worthy cause.

Modern Life is anything but Simple. We are in an age of expansion not seen before and doesn’t look like slowing anytime soon. We juggle multiple roles, chase our never ending to do lists and many of us are entrapped in the web of technology as it advances and expands and intrudes into every corner of our existence, where not even the bedroom or the bathroom provide solace, anxious we’ll miss the latest blog or txt or ‘like’. The expectation we place on ourselves and those imposed upon us have never been greater – and the very things that may serve to help us maintain balance including solitude, down time, ordinary pleasures, connecting with nature and true connection (no device) time with family and friends are fast becoming redundant in our over stimulated, distraction laden daily lives.

Insurance Changes

Berkhamsted Chiropractic Clinic

Due to the recent changes AXA PPP have chosen to enforce upon their chiropractic practitioner agreements William Tomlin, Kevin Pistak and Lauren Comley  have chosen to de-register as providers. This means you will no longer be able to claim for your treatments with them through your AXA PPP health insurance.

Amy Mawson and Darry Tribe are both still working as registered AXA PPP chiropractors.

Inflammation? How to make an inflammatory juice.

Anti-Inflammatory Juice

Ingredients:
•4 Celery Stalks
•1/2 Cucumber
•1 cup Pineapple
•1/2 Green Apple
•1 cup Spinach
•1 Lemon
•1 knob Ginger

Directions:
1. Add all ingredients to vegetable juicer. Gently stir juice and consume immediately.

Stretch before you start

Dig. Lift. Reach. Bend

You could be burning up to 300 calories an hour so limber up first.  Your joints, muscles and back will thank you!

Stretch each of these body parts 5 times, holding each stretch for 15 seconds. Don’t bounce, jerk or strain, it should be a gentle stretch, not a painful one.

Stretch your: Thighs, Sides, Arms & Wrists, Shoulders, Hamstrings & Back
